Meet Dr. Ernest Wang

Dr. Ernest L. Wang was born in New York City and raised in Edison, NJ. He received both his Bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees in the selective seven-year combined degree program at New York University, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. Dr. Wang spent an additional three years at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery where he was awarded a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences.

Dr. Wang has earned the extraordinary distinction of achieving Diamond Top 1% Invisalign provider worldwide. Invisalign recognized Dr. Wang’s office based on his experience, knowledge and the number of cases successfully treated. The achievement is significant because less than 100 Invisalign providers worldwide have achieved Diamond Top 1%. His professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, New Jersey Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society. Dr. Wang has been chosen by his peers as a Top Dentist in New Jersey Monthly Magazine, and also by parents as a Top Kids Doc in NJ Family Magazine.

Dr. Wang resides in Howell with his wife, Erin, son, Jason, daughter Lea and dog, Nacho. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and traveling.

Dr. “Jeannie” Jingyi Wang received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at
the University of Pennsylvania where she continued her training in
Orthodontics. She was born in Beijing, China, finished high school in
Bethesda, Maryland, and attended University of Southern California in Los
Angeles for undergrad. After her volunteer and research experiences in
dental school and residency, she strongly believes that orthodontics is not
only about fixing and enhancing esthetics, but also about dedicated patient
education and scientific advancement to ensure successful patient care and
lifelong functionality.

In her free time in college, she participated in the Miss Chinese Cosmos
Pageant of the Americas in 2015 and won Miss Eloquence, which reinforced
her passion for a career in esthetics. Dr. Jeannie also comes from a family
of dentists.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time traveling with her husband doing
yoga, hiking and playing tennis.
